Job Description:
As an Information Security Officer, you are responsible for information security in demanding customer environments and support Swiss companies in further developing their security and compliance structures.
The position is based in Portugal and is performed remotely. You will work in a professional environment with high quality standards and contribute to the sustainable implementation of security standards, governance requirements and regulatory requirements.

- Experience: At least 5 years in information security
Responsibilities:
- Establishment, operation and continuous development of an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Implementation and monitoring of security standards and regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, NIS2 and relevant FINMA requirements
- Definition and enforcement of security policies, processes and controls
- Conducting risk analyses and deriving concrete measures
- Planning, managing and supporting internal and external audits, assessments and certifications
- Advising management and specialist departments on security, compliance and audit topics
- Monitoring security incidents and defining incident response processes
- Collaboration with internal teams, customers and external partners to ensure a holistic security approach
- Supporting Swiss companies in implementing robust and practical security structures
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in information security (mandatory)
- German C1 and English C1 (mandatory)
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, ISMS and regulatory requirements
- Experience with FINMA requirements, NIS2 and audit requirements
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
- Experience in regulated environments such as finance, energy or healthcare
- Knowledge of cloud security and modern IT architectures
- Experience with internal and external audit processes as well as external auditors
